In the early 1990s Liberty Life recognized the enormous potential of marketing life insurance in financial institutions. That's when we decided to talk with some successful bankers about how they liked to do business.
We learned there was a need for a simplified life insurance product that would match the transaction-oriented environment in banks. So we built a new product with a simplified issue process that allowed bank representatives to complete the application process in just ten minutes, so the customer could leave the bank with the contract in hand.
Today, Liberty Life's Liberty Series Estate Maximizer1 single payment whole life insurance is the flagship product in our bank distribution channel. In fact, our simplified issue process has become the standard in the industry as other companies enter the bank insurance marketplace.
We continue to leverage our success by introducing new products in select banks, such as annuities, simplified traditional life insurance and universal life. We are among the leaders in non-credit life premium in banks.

For our business partners in banks, our philosophy means we respond quickly and strategically to their needs, creating tailored solutions to training, service and back office support.
Our bank insurance unit is dedicated exclusively to supporting the bank channel with all of the back office functions required to sell and service our products. A national network of wholesalers assigned to specific banks provides on-site assistance and training support.
